INAX Master ceramists are often called upon for specialist restoration projects.

Tokyo Station

  • By Japanese architect Kingo Tatsuno.

  • Constructed 1914.

  • Red “Facing Bricks” (we now call them tiles) destroyed during WWII

  • 15,000 tiles were produced after a 7 year process to perfect the replacements.

Tokyo Central Post Office

  • By Japanese architect Tatsuro Yoshida

  • Constructed 1931

  • Renovation tiles produced to match the effects of pollution.

Milan’s Church of San Francesco

  • By Milanese architect, Gio Ponti

  • Constructed 1926

  • 1,000m2 of tiles donated by INAX for restoration.
